In the case of our exercises, it might not be a very good idea to tell the class ahead of time where the exercises came from, because then students could simply go and look at the answers without actually doing the work of thinking through the problems themselves. On the other hand, if I never <br />tell the class, at least after we were finished, where I got the exercises, then I would be passing off someone else's work as my own.
